The little dickens (already obvious to be male) has been sitting on small
branch on locust tree outside my front windows and seems somewhat fascinated
with the cats in the windows. It flies so gently from the tree over to support
at the feeder, but I haven't actually seen it eat at the feeder yet.
Sadly, I am sure I do not have the numbers of hummers this year as previous
years. I can only confirm one male and one female here now, plus this little
fellow and in years past, I've had a handful jockeying at five feeders to eat.
Only running three feeders this year.
