I don't see many Bald Eagles, but I've seen 3 this past week - one at Basil Griffin Park on Sunday, one at McElroy Lake on Thursday, then another one Friday. I did not get a picture of the one I saw yesterday. I was lining up my tractor with a marker flag on the far end of the field where I plan to plant tobacco. Just before dropping the plow in the ground to commence turning dirt, I saw a Bald Eagle approaching fairly high. I stopped to watch it pass. It began circling. Hmm, I thought. It may have spotted some carrion that I happen to know about. But after turning my 3 acre patch, I did not find the eagle at the carrion site.
