[bcbirdclub] Eurasian Collared Dove at Claytor Lake

Hi All,
I received a call yesterday afternoon from Mark Mullins, a fellow birder who
lives at Claytor Lake. Lynda and I had birded with Mark recently with the
Bibbee Nature Club at the Bluestone Dam area in Hinton, WV. We also know Mark
from the Tazewell Christmas Bird Count, which he helps with each year. Mark is
also subscribed to this listserv group.
Mark called to tell us that he had just had a Eurasian Collared Dove at his
play at Claytor. He was able to take several photos of the bird.
I predict that within the next year or two a Eurasian Collared Dove will be
sighted in Buchanan County. They are moving this way.
