Folks,
Have received several reports of adult and immature Bald Eagles in the vicinity
of the trout ponds in Chilhowie in Smyth Co. My understanding is that they are
there all year. I haven't been able to get there to investigate, but did have
great looks at a beautiful adult B-E gliding at low level parallel with I-81
near mile marker 29, which is quite close to that area, on Friday afternoon
1/16.
