I would have to agree with Junia. I felt the only benefit was their
branding being used for the school's marketing. Outside of that, it was
more work for myself and the school for very little payoff. If the program
was free it wouldn't bother me as much, but it cost quite a lot and I would
expect them to handle more of the work (almost like professional
development) for that cost, which wasn't really offered.
I also change almost all of their lessons and have ceased renewing my
CommonSense Certified Teacher because of this.

day, I’m grateful that I’m at least making the attempt and pursuing due
diligence to educate students in online safety, ethics, and respect.
Again, I could argue either way as to whether the program is truly
beneficial. The “branding” seems to impress the community, however we
ultimately end up creating/modifying all the resources to suit our
particular needs. Please let me know if you’d like further, more in-depth,
details and I apologize that my findings are somewhat inconclusive.
