Thanks for that bit of information Dean, and thanks everyone for the
feedback. I didn't get offended by the questions, and they were great
valid ones. This is how we all learn! On more thing to add. I did take
the Hyperstar to Dean in Starizona, and he took a few hours to work with me
on it (This was very nice of him).. He did state that the Hyperstar was NOT
made for such a large imaging chip, so that is certainly part of the issue,
but he also noticed the chip seemed off-centered in the camera and may be
mounted wrong, so I think this is part of the issue also, because I still
have the edge issues (not as much) with Primary photography.
I think if I were to do this all again, I would go for the standard size
chip rather than the full-frame. The Full frame is beastly expensive, and
my current equipment doesn't seem to be able to quite handle it. Still, I
can and do crop the edges. Something you may want to consider if you find
yourself in the market for a new chip.

One comment - since in the Hyperstar, like a Schmidt camera, the camera is
inside the optical path, the image needs to be flipped in one axis or
another to keep correct orientation as it appears in the sky...

I decided to take two images of the famous Horsehead nebula. One wide
angle that show the region around the horsehead, and another zoomed into
the horsehead itself. Both images were taken with the same
telescope(Celestron C-11). The wide angle with the Starizona Hyperstar
configuration.
