Now you're talkin'. Seems like the weather discussion should precede the
"where are we going Saturday" discussion. Hurricane Alma is petering out
well to the south of Baja, but the approaching trough is going to dredge
up its moisture. The forecast discussions put the worst location for
clouds toward the Colorado River and westward, so west may not be the best
direction. So pick your poison: hurricane remnants to the west, and
National Forests closed due to drought to the north and east.
