Hello, SACâs next meeting is Friday March 22, 2013 7:30pm @ Grand Canyon University, 35th Ave & Camelback Phoenix The speaker is Paul Lind, an expert amateur astronomer, long time Saguaro Astronomy Club Member, and a Journeyman ATMer. Iâm pretty sure heâll be at/or is already at the Messier Marathon with the astrograph he madeâquite an amazing machine producing increasingly greater photosâso look him up if youâre heading out there this weekend and check out his astrograph. Just donât try to look through the eyepiece! Check our website www.saguaroastro.org for directions or: Interstate 17 to Camelback Rd./West on Camelback to the 33rd Ave. entrance to the university, (a small traffic light before the big intersection at 35th Ave.) turn right on 33rd Ave, proceed to the guard gate and tell them youâre there for the astronomy club meeting (or the gastronomy grub, astrology flub, geology tub, etc.) then turn left and park. Walk back to the guard gate, turn left and proceed down the lighted path to the Fleming Building, the last building on the right. Follow the astro-banter to our meeting room.
