[AZ-Observing] Re: Pierre Schwaar Telescopes (Was: A Smile and a Frown)

My old 13 inch f/5.6 Newtonian was sold to a the science department of
Paulden, Az. High School.  This little H.S. is north of Prescott.  I worked
with a friend for many years who teaches there now and he told me that the
students were thrilled with the scope and that the staff has a storage unit
for it that makes it easy to set up and use.  I was happy to have my old
scope wind up showing the sky to an enthusiastic group of teenagers.

P.S.  I know the 14 inch mirror in AJ's Dobsonian is from Pierre and used to
be one of his personal scopes.  I have a photo somewhere of Pierre at Eagle
Eye with that 14 incher.
