If anyone is thinking of heading to Starizona to check out the used
GPS11, don't bother, its gone.

Well... actually... I bought it. But I have both my wife and Glenn
to blame for it. I had mentioned reading Glenn's email about the scope
to my wife. "Gee, a GPS11 for $2400 seems like a good deal."

Early today my wife mentioned she wanted to hit a bead place and find
some pieces she needed for a project, and casually mentioned we could
stop at Starizona since it is close by. I should have been suspicious.
We got to Starizona and I expected the great deal to be gone already,
indeed when I looked at the scope it had a tag hanging from it saying
"hold for..." It's gone. Read further... "Hold for Deb"... Huh?!?
Deb? My Deb?!? I must have looked really confused. At which point I
got a coy little smile from my Deb. So much for $2400, but the deal was
better than that, barely used, not a scratch or bit of dust, Feather
Touch focuser, landing pad, the Starizona spreader/tray, how could I
turn it down? And again the coy little smile... It's over.

At least Glenn bought me lunch.

Anyone in the market for a used Meade 8" LX50, I need the room.

Thanks Glenn!

Andrew
