I wanted to take this opportunity to thank you for the wonderful messages
supporting the Dark Sky legislation SB 1218.
After vigorous debate, the bill passed out of Committee of the Whole this
afternoon and will now go to a full vote on either Monday or Tuesday
depending on the Governor's call for a Special Session.
It will probably be a little close, but I anticipate the bill passing out of
the Senate. I am, however, going to really need your support and letters as
the bill moves to the House.
I will be in contact with you and will let you know with whom and when you
should communicate with the House members so that we can work effectively as
the bill moves through the process.
Thank you again for all of your help. While we can speak for dark skies,
the sky speaks best for itself.
