For those planning on attending the Thunderbird Starwatch this Saturday, Comet Swan will be 1 1/2 degrees north of Zeta Herculi (the southwestern star of the keystone). Should be a Nice change from the usual clusters & such. Now there are reports from the past day that the comet has brightened dramatically since then to nearly magnitude 4.0. It might be clear enough to take a shot at it tonight, and it pretty sure to be clear by Wednesday night. It is located above the "U" of Corona Borealis. http://skyhound.com/sh/comets/2006_M4.gif -- See message header for info on list archives or unsubscribing, and please send personal replies to the author, not the list. -- See message header for info on list archives or unsubscribing, and please send personal replies to the author, not the list.
