Many of us saw the fringe naked-eye comet in Bootes at star parties this past weekend. Now there are reports from the past day that the comet has brightened dramatically since then to nearly magnitude 4.0. It might be clear enough to take a shot at it tonight, and it pretty sure to be clear by Wednesday night. It is located above the "U" of Corona Borealis. http://skyhound.com/sh/comets/2006_M4.gif -- See message header for info on list archives or unsubscribing, and please send personal replies to the author, not the list.
