Most of the money costing mistakes that I have seen in my career as a
technical writer are caused by govt employees taking amounts of paid leave
that we, as mere contractors, can only baulk at."?:!!***&%$! leaving
absolutely no-one!, and no written documentation or procedures!, to cover
them in their very frothy, cost wasting, wake!

Sometimes their absence is of the mind only, and not the body. Or, not
even an absence of the mind, only of an honourable (and focussed) intention
to the public good. ..(They may be protecting a home, or dealing with a
needy relative, and they are really very nice and good people! ).

However, because of their absence, their public obligation, for which they
are paid, (by the public(by the way,)) is unfullfilled. Their project falls
into a deep dark hole, and wastes a large amount of public money.
.........They do not need any insurance for this, because someone else (the
public) will always pick up the tab. It would be Ok if they didn't hate the
unemployed, (because the unemployed are, to the average Canb pubserv, of
course, "bludgers"). (Surprising, that! A similar concept to the English
hating the Irish and the Jews hating the Arabs ( and the other way round of
course) ). Like hating the like! sort of negative
homoeopathic.energy..........

We, the contractors, do need insurance for our actions, because we are Real
and Free beings (of which we should be proud, by the way!), and the Real and
the Free have to pay for the others (who are public servants, (or rip-off
merchants who are even worse.))

Blessed are the Meek! (we could read as a translation for the Hebrew word
"Meek"."the semi-mentally-absent" or, "the public servants".).
.........
For they shall inherit the superannuation, the sick pay, and the long
service leave (hereby known as "the earth")!
(And, in addition, small dry properties with characterless brick buildings
of no architectural merit but the occasional galah!).

And others (the Contractors), shall pay for it, via loss of holiday income,
various other income, general security of tenure, interest on debt
repayments, social standing, unreasonable management company percentages and
various insurances! And these debits shall be decreed by the ultimate
powers in the universe! ie GOD! (Government Ordinance Debiters!)

But Lo!, when the needle appeareth, and I do mean neeeeedle! Those sneaky
technical writers shall go through it., again ..............and again
.............and again!.

And therein is our heaven!

Dont you just love being you?

(and I reserve the right to combine the explanation mark and the comma for
ever and ever! regardless of grammatical rulings to the contrary //.....amen
So there!?! $)*>??!

Here endeth the reading...

See, we all make mistakes. Is that 'phys ed'
insurance?
No, it's supposed to be PI for professional
indemnity!!

<snip>
...stipulated WC and *PE* insurance cover,
too.

...rather than
that we are such an error-free group.
