In FrameMaker 6 on Windows, I have a table that (easily) fits vertically on
the page, but which is too wide for the text column. So I decrease the width
of (any) one of the columns so that the table fits horizontally. Doing so
causes the table to immediately jump to the next page, leaving a huge gap on
the original page. However, reducing the column width had no effect on
text-wrapping within the table, so its height remains unchanged.
I then tried inserting a page break into the table to try to get it to fit
vertically. But even if I do so only a few rows (about 3cm) from the top of
the table, the preceding rows remains stubbornly on a page all of their own.
Please, what can I do to make the table fit on the original page?
Thanks,
Craig
