Re the tables, Terry (D)

Check that Word isn't making what seems to be a simple copy and
paste into an all-singing-all-dancing Object Linking and Embedding
(OLE) link, such as "OLE_LINK1".

If the latter is the case, all sorts of odd things can happen.

(To find and fix, just go to Insert > Bookmark to display the Bookmark
dialog, start typing OLE and you'll find the little rotters, which you
can then go to and delete from within that dialog, if you like.)

...and "MNSOP" means (perhaps best informed off list?) or "YOB" for
that matter - I'm having a guess already that doesn't seem too
flattering as to your age or ancestry. Neither of which appear
on the Webopedia Text Messaging Abbreviations Web page @
<http://www.webopedia.com/quick_ref/textmessageabbreviations.asp>.

Cheers,

Michael (G)

I guess we're all in the same boat, so I won't bother
changing versions just yet and it is now a forgotten
topic. ...At least until I find the next slothful
feature - actually, have found a few interesting ones
over the past week or two.=20

Anyone else had problems with Word automatically
toggling bolding when copying tables from one doc to
another? The styles still indicated they were right,
but removing formatting with Ctrl Space and Ctrl Q had
no effect. Every style I applied within the table
would have the bolding toggled, but outside of the
table, they were correct. In the end, I fixed
('overcame' is more appropriate) the problem by
creating some blank table rows in the destination
document and pasting the rest of the source table
underneath them. I don't understand what was going on.
There was no overlap in style names from one doc to
the other.

MNSOP [you better let me know if I'm on the right
track with this acronym] Mike (O),

Bummer, indeed. Might catch up with you (in person)
towards the end of the week.

Cheers all,
Terry
