I guess we're all in the same boat, so I won't bother changing versions just yet and it is now a forgotten topic. ...At least until I find the next slothful feature - actually, have found a few interesting ones over the past week or two. Anyone else had problems with Word automatically toggling bolding when copying tables from one doc to another? The styles still indicated they were right, but removing formatting with Ctrl Space and Ctrl Q had no effect. Every style I applied within the table would have the bolding toggled, but outside of the table, they were correct. In the end, I fixed ('overcame' is more appropriate) the problem by creating some blank table rows in the destination document and pasting the rest of the source table underneath them. I don't understand what was going on. There was no overlap in style names from one doc to the other. MNSOP [you better let me know if I'm on the right track with this acronym] Mike (O), Bummer, indeed. Might catch up with you (in person) towards the end of the week.
