I am wondering if there is a quick way to place a watermark (in this
instance with the word DRAFT placed at an angle) on one page only of a
Word 2002 document. I've tried a couple of options without success - it
always applies to every page.</snip>

What about using Word Art (View menu > Toolbars > Drawing) which inserts
text that floats over the top of whichever page you put it on. You can
format the text so it displays at an angle too! :o)
