I have seen all sorts of re-pagination occur, and generally evil things
occur, especially with landscape to portrait section breaks.
As I say, embedding the image on the title page, sending it to the back and
leaving it at that is enough.

What sort of problems might it cause? I've never had a problem doing
it that way, but have never needed to do it with a particularly
complicated document, either.
