This book outlines how an approach similar to WWII mobilisation would be
effective in dealing with the issue. It was co-written with Elizabeth

Bush-Cheney attacks on Afghanistan and Iraq were really at the root of the

Around 2003 DRG was all set to write a book about climate change,
considering it to be the most important problem facing humanity. He was
waylaid, however, by 9/11, writing 10 books on the subject before finally
coming out with a book on climate change, Unprecedented: Can Civilization
Survive the CO2 Crisis?
