Hi all, It is always such a pity that the other states seem to be too far away / remote. In Queensland, there are a number of TCs - I know that for a fact. In Tasmania, there is at least one that I know (hi, Geoff). And I have seen a number of posts from WA TCs. Why can't our profession be nation-wide? The USA managed it (and look at the number of members they currently have). Cheers, Ana --- Andrea Tappe <Andrea.Tappe@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> wrote: > > If you are interested in the accreditation issue, > but can't make the Sydney > meeting: > > The ASTC (Vic) has been working with Swinburne > University since May to > conduct a study to find out: > > * what technical communicators think about > accreditation (helpful? not > helpful? irrelevant?) > > and; > > * what they think an accreditation scheme 'looks > like' (run by a university? > run by a professional body?
