Hi Stacey and welcome to our little group here. Fortunately we don’t just
always talk sports. Usually the list is just full of silliness, not that I
would ever contribute to that *lol*.

Hey this would have been a good year to support the Chargers, they aren’t doing
to bad either. Well all of the teams you mentioned in your e-mail have a
better chance of getting there than the Bears do this year, and if there’s not
some changes done at Hallis Hall the same will be next year too. They’ve
really got their business in a box and it’s going to be difficult to get out of
it, or very expensive. Haven’t heard this much dissatisfaction since the days
of when they wanted Wanstat gone, and even then it wasn’t as bad as now. But
so far it doesn’t look like much will happen up there. More likely to happen
after season is over. A lot of people wanting them to just throw out the whole
crew from GM down. That might be a good start. The coaching hasn’t had
control of the locker room since the beginning of the season. I don’t think
the players have much respect for the coaching, or the coaching is just plum
bad, or maybe both. Well the coaching is definitely bad that is obvious from
their record this year.

Josh and I talk about UT football and sports sometimes because he lives there,
and I used to live in that area too, but now listen to their games over the
internet. Listen to them more than the Illini, although I have been listening
to Illini basketball this year. Their only losses have been to ranked teams,
so there is a little flash in the pan as far as their basketball program is
concerned. The football did manage to win some Big 10 games this year so just
maybe they might become competitive enough to fight into the middle of the Big
10 eventually.
