As a bit of a digression... I'm starting to think that thermal cooling is
weighted a bit more on prior experience and assumptions rather than just pure
math equations. For example, I'm pretty confident that based only on
regenerative cooling and thermal deposits I can cool my smallish 500 lbf
LOX/Kerosene engine design, however, that is totally based on assumptions
regarding thermal deposits for which there is not much hard evidence.
