And just to clear up my description of pressure thrust a bit more coz I screwed
it up a bit. It would be the force difference between the red area (nozzle
exit) and blue area (same 2 dimensional area on the frontal face of the
vehicle) in the attached illustration ie. Coz the 2 dimensional areas are the
same, it would derive from the static pressure differential between these 2
surfaces.
