I said: Ve (or v2) is entirely dependent on the amount of expansion.
Of course, that’s for a given exhaust temperature, molecular weight, ratio of
specific heats etc. I was assuming people would gather that assumption in the
context of the discussion but it was clumsily phrased and needed qualification.
