Well, yes, that is the point of the exercise, after all. Certainly
feasible but sometimes it has been difficult. The poster child for that
was the F-1, where every improvement in stability seemed to incur an Isp
penalty, and since the small Isp margin had already been used up earlier
in development, each stability gain was followed by a struggle to get the
lost performance back.
