I tried just selecting the JetDirect radio button and entering the IP
address.
Where is that button? The nearest that I see is a "Direct drive"
button, and if I select that (purely experimentally) there is nowhere
to enter an IP address or anything else.
This is on the Connections window for PoScript3 on Printers+ 1.91a
under RISC OS 6.20. This is quite a lot different from the equivalent
window on RISC OS 5.23.
I've got buttons for Direct Drive, Net, NFS and LPR greyed out and
Parallel, Serial, LanManFS, LanMan98, JetDirect and File available.
Then on the right there are fields for the various parameters.
A direct drive printer is one where the printer engine is connected
directly to the computer, with the computer doing all the page
rendering, so it wouldn't have a network address or host name. The
Calligraph printer is a good example. It has its own podule and a RISC
OS 2 style printer driver so is not compatble with ARMX6 or !Printers.

I don't want a "user experience" - I just want stuff that works.
