!Printers is normally set to print to parallel. !PrtSet2USB changes
this to USB. Is there an equivalent to print to an online printer?
Newer computers do not have parallel ports, so the purpose of Ian
Hamilton's !PrtSet2USB utility (www.notme.me.uk) is to ease the
setting up of a USB printer when !Printers thinks it wants a parallel
connection.
As Richard Torrens writes, what you want is Steffan Bellon's RPFS
(Remote Printer FS).
In constant use here, but I wouldn't have known how to set it up to
drive an HP Color LaserJet CP1510 without valuable on-line advice from
the RISC OS community.
Best wishes,
Peter.
