Hi, I've used dispcal and dispcalGUI previously with my Eye-One Display 2, in both Ubuntu and Kubuntu. A few weeks ago, I purchased a Colorhug, and attempted to use dispcal and dispcalGUI again (now in Arch Linux). dispcal crashed with a segmentation fault. I rebooted into Kubuntu, and dispcal worked fine, with both colorimeters. A few weeks later, I just tried to use dispcal again, and it now crashes in both distros. The error message is not very informative. > $ dispcal -yl -v -o ~/141128_colorhug > Setting up the instrument > Segmentation fault (core dumped) The (Arch) system log contains the following: > Nov 28 21:47:32 lee-XPS-17 kernel: dispcal[1931]: segfault at af1c70 > ip 0000000000af1c70 sp 00007fff7ae19008 error 15 > Nov 28 21:47:32 lee-XPS-17 systemd-coredump[1933]: Process 1931 > (dispcal) of user 1000 dumped core. I'm happy to provide more information, but I'm not sure where the core is dumped. Arch Linux (and tested in Kubuntu 14.04) dispcal 1.6.3 Cheers, Lee.
