Graeme,

regarding Mikolaj's "too warm" appearance, another issue comes into my mind:

When did you change the skewed gray axis mapping (BP->WP straight line), such that only BP's lightness is mapped any more? Are these changes already in 0.53, or will they come in the next version?

As already discussed earlier, with the skewed lightness mapping, a non-neutral media BP (several dE off a* = b* = 0) IMO does result in an overall color cast (though white is mapped to paper white), which might indeed also be interpreted as "too warm" or "too cold", depending on the BP's a* and b*.

Mikolaj,

what's actually the media WP and BP recorded in the profile you generated?
(you can find out with "iccdump -v3 -t wtpt <profile>" and "iccdump -v3 -t bkpt <profile>")

Regards,
Gerhard
