I solved those problems by adding a new curve to type for lcms.
The current initial values with the "Bright" preset are:
exponent = 2.2;
coefficient_exponential = 1.099;
constant = 0.099;
coefficient_linear = 4.5;
constant_linear_range_length = 0.018;
This produces an exact Inverse Rec709 Encode curve on the display. But it's
still looks bad.
So, the question remains: What parameters should I use for the Dim and Dark
presets to match with the scaling of ArgyllCMS/dispcal?
