Yes, but the program isn't terribly smart, you need to give it
the -e flag to tell it you want to make an emissive measurement,
not the default reflective one.

PS: Do you know if a debian package exists for argyllcms project ? If not, I can ask a friend if he could make one... 

I'm not aware of one.
