[argyllcms] Huey and dispcal

Hi,
I'm trying to use a Huey Colorimeter with Argyllcms on Ubuntu (Hardy Heron) .
When I try to run dispcal I get the following error:
Setting up the instrument
dispcal: Error - new_disprd() failed with 'Instrument Access Failed'
dmesg returns this lines when I plug it in:
hiddev96hidraw0: USB HID v1.00 Device [HID 0971:2005] on usb-0000:00:10.1-1
and lsusb corresponding line is:
Bus 002 Device 004: ID 0971:2005 Gretag-Macbeth AG
I've read in some place (linux kernel mailing list as well) that this kind of
device should be blacklisted in the kernel
to be considered and HID device.
My current kernel is: 2.6.24-19-generic
Is there any workaround to this problem?
