Hi! I have used Argyll with Linux and various photographic applications, and have been very impressed with it. It seems to generate considerably more accurate profiles for my monitor than Monaco Optix2.0, the application that I use under Windows. (Thanks, Graeme!!!) Therefore, I would like to use it with Windows, as well. Unfortunately, I have not had a great deal of success with this. I have been able to generate and install shaper profiles, but I believe I'm doing something wrong. The images I see with most color-manage application (such as Photoshop and Canon DPP) are awful. They have extremely high contrast, and garish colors. Oddly, this is not the case with FastStone MaxView with ICM color managemet turned on. I suspect that I'm committing a foolish mistake in some part of the profile generation or use. Are there any easy newbie goofs that are likely to have this sort of result? Thanks! David
