Thank you for the good news (for me at least) that, if I understand you
correctly, succeeding versions of Arachne will use the A170 downloading
procedure. However, I am somewhat surprised at that decision because,
when I first started complaining about the A190 download procedures, I
got the impression from the chatter on the Arachne List that a lot of
other people preferred the A190 download procedures. Have they,
perhaps, changed their minds since?
2. I also thank you for downloading DBASE5 and putting it in a ZIP
file. Unfortunately, I was not able to find it at your web site, nor to
http it successfully. I probably do not yet fully understand the
niceties of http-ing files. Could you suggest what I might have done
wrong.
I should note that getting to your web site, and then doing something
useful there, has always been difficult if I tried to do so by pressing
F3 and typing the URL into Arachne. However, if I google some of your
messages on the site I USUALLY but not quite always get there by
following the links posted by google. What is my problem there?
