Hi John,
I use a macro editor from Mix Software. I am very fond
of it. It is one of my favorite tools. My only complaint is
that the macros reduce the size of the file that the editor
can hold in it's main buffer. That is, the more macros in the
setup file, the smaller the file that can be held in the main
buffer. Since global functions only work on the main buffer, one
has to be sure the whole file is in the main buffer, or else
one must load and search large files a buffer at a time.
This editor was not free. I got it with software I purchased
at least 10 yrs. ago from Mix Software on C programming. It was
not very expensive and came with excellent documentation.
