You and your family are invited to a kickball/potluck/picnic birthday party
for Howie Porter on Sunday, July 13th at 6:00 pm. We'll start out with a
picnic dinner at 6 then divide up into kickball teams and play till dark
and then break out the guitars for a little singalong!
Location: Bartholmew park baseball field on Greenbrook Parkway across from
the intersections with Running Brook near Berkman and 51st. Everyone is
welcome to come and those over 6 are welcome to play-no experience
necessary. Wear sneaker type shoes and loose clothes for baserunning-no
equipment needed. Come early and take a dip in the pool, slide down the
waterslide, play disc golf, check out the playground, play in the spray
fountain wading thingy or enjoy a book under a shade tree. Park in the lot
on Greenbrook Parkway across from Running Brook. There's bleachers in the
shade at this ballfield. We'll have drinks, ice, plates, etc. and roasted
chicken legs for all so bring something to go with and also folding chairs.
No presents please, just bring something tasty but if you insist, you can
make a donation to Austin Habitat for Humanity. Please RSVP by Friday,
7/11/14.
