Members and Friends of Austin Mennonite Church

This next Sunday we will learn about the rise of Islam and certain
historical aspects of the turbulent relationship between Christians and
Muslims during the Middle Ages. The title 'People of the Book' is a phrase
taken from the Koran which refers to the followers of the three great Middle
Eastern religions: Jews, Christians, and Muslims. All three religions
worship the same God. However history does not affirm this commonality
because their relationship has been marked by cruelty and bloodshed.

Everyone is welcome to join us for this presentation of contemporary
interest and significance.

May it go well with you. Sincerely,

Garland Robertson
