[amc] Palestine trip?

Dear all,

I've now made contact with Zoughbi about a visit to Palestine (see below).
I suggested the dates June 23-29, 2009, because that's how my schedule works
out.  But others may want to extend it one way or the other.

Anyway, a few of you have talked with me about participating in the visit.
So now is the time to make some decisions about whether it's feasible or
not.  Janice and I will be going, but it would be great to have others
participating as well.

The goals of the trip would be
1) to educate ourselves about the situation in Palestine and Israel;
2) to show our concern for folks there; and
3) to communicate what we learn with others after we come home.

Zoughbi has offered to help us work out an itinerary of people/places to
visit.  I told him I'd let him know in a week or so approximately how many
of us are thinking of coming.

Ps.  Janice and I will be out of town this weekend so we won't be at church
on Sunday.  But talk it around and email us.  We're never far from the
web...
