Debbie,
When this happened to me, with the machine already stopped, I hit the
Emergency stop button then physically pushed the big white needle case
until the presser foot was directly in front on a needle. Then I
released the e stop and tried to move the needle case with the buttons
on the control panel at the machine. (The needle icon and the right or
left arrow). If the needle case is now free, turn off the machine and
then back on. This lets the machine find home again and resets the
design. Also make sure to clean out the sensors on both the right and
left side of the needle case.

Roland,
I've got a customer coming within the hour, so I don't want to get in
the
middle of this and have to deal with her, so I'll ask you a couple
things in
the meantime. When you say steppers, is that "step" in the settings
menu,
or the forward and backward arrows on the side keyboard. I tried the
forward and backward, but they didn't react. Also, when you say push
the
needle case until the needle looks centered, do you mean "physically
move
the needlecase" by nudging one side? Well, thanks again!!! Debbie
