I can't be much help with the feed settings but do have a suggestion for
getting the tightest hooping possible with the jacket back hoop. I have
wrapped mine with athletic tape - the stretchy, spongey stuff that sticks to
itself without adhesive. It helps with slippage along the long edges where the
hoop tends not to grip very tightly. I also use a high quality cutaway that I
can really pull tightly and then pin it to the athletic tape after hooping as
tightly as I can.
