You do not get the regular Tech support. I had to call them with my old
machine and you can talk to tech but it takes a lot longer to get through.

I am also in the quandary of the extended service plan.  The price seems 
quite high for the quality of the machines.  However if we do not have our 
machines under warranty are we still entitled to technical support?  I doubt
it.  
They have been very valuable to me in the past--Actually saved my orders!
