Read somewhere that 1/2 inch wide was the max for a satin.

Good morning, Cyber Sewing Sleuths.

At what size lettering is there a danger of satin stitches getting caught,
torn, etc with wear? Is there a particular rule out there, common sense, or
just plain experience that states at what size one should switch to fill to
prevent fraying? We're working on a fleece blanket, (already sewn out at 1
inch) and are concerned that the satin stitching won't wear well. Any
thoughts? Anything? Anyone?

Thanks,
Genie Z
