:D LOL...thanks for your replies, guys. Let me answer them in order:
Herb, if I HAD the tech manual on disk, I would have used it...so the answer
is: I don't seem to have it here.
Russell, I was not able to find *ANY* rotary hook replacement/hook timing
adjustment information in the help system (XT or otherwise). If I had found
that info, I would have used it, however, there IS NO info available for this
procedure - at least not in my version of the OS.
Ed, I did indeed remove the rotary hook (under the assumption I could easily
find the information on replacing it into the machine), and I now need to get
it back in place and properly adjusted.
I was astounded to see that there was not even a reference to this procedure on
Melco's support website! Quite a disappointment...
