Using the "go to " tab in Maintenance, Head timing, will not do anything to fix your problem. Relieving any possible drag in the rotary hook area, the needlebars and the reciprocator and reciprocator and presserfoot shafts may take care of your issue. This means a "complete" lubrication sequence may be needed, not just oiling the rotary hook. Go into Settings, Timers and go through each one of the Steps. Lubricate everything. This would be the first step before looking at a possible bad order Z axis motor or motherboard. While going through the procedures, also look for any thread and/or debris in any of the gears or wrapped around any of the rotating shafts including behind the rotary hook body....anything that could cause drag to the rotating surfaces....
