I wasn't aware there were classes in Dallas. Can you give me some info?

WOW! I think I can actually contribute something constructive here!
Debbie, I am a VERY PART TIME (1 order/month) business and own two
Amayas. I attended a training class with Melco in Dallas at the
beginning of this year which focused on machine maintenance. They
reviewed the oiling/lubricating guidelines in depth and had changed
their guidelines of only 8 drops of oil to 20 - 30 drops of oil!

When the Melco trainer learned how seldom we use our machines, he
advised that we oil every time we get ready to do an order if the
machines have sat for a couple of weeks without being run. He says the
oil evaporates. This mostly applies to the OIL requirements NOT grease.
I'd still double check with Melco about their recommendations for other
issues!

My Amaya has been resting for about three months. Do I need to do any
special maintenance before I start her up?

Thanks in advance.

Debbie
