Ed Orantes here.  I was catching up on some old e-mails and I saw this
one from you (see below).  Just thought I'd mention this tid bit to
you...

The newer style Amaya XT's are claiming that you can sew up to 3 inches
in height on a cap that will accept it.  Now for me that means
realistically you can sew up to 2.5 inches instead of the older 2.25
standard.  Of course I don't think any cap would look good with a 3 inch
design anyway, because it would start to look "gaudy" (spell?).  But
that's just my opinion.

The Amaya XT's have a different cap frame driver that doesn't fit on the
original Amayas. Hope this helps.

You can only go about 2.25" in height on a cap.
