I haven't had any trouble with the hoops yet. My preference is always Melco
hoops, but I bought a 6-inch square and a 6x12-inch hoop from Durkee. I have
to be careful with the 150x300, though, because it's not rectangular, but it's
great for long names on the backs of shirts.

Hey Barb,
Judging by the images of these hoops on the Durkee website, I would advise
AGAINST them. The outer ring, you know, the adjustable one? Well these hoops
possess the small, very difficult to get a grip on, double ended brass
adjustment screw that is almost always stripped from using needle nose pliers.
Believe it or not, the hoops that Melco sells, have the adjustment screw that
comes off to one side which is much easier to grab hold of and even has the
slotted end which can accomodate a screwdriver for tweeking of torque.

Here's a link to Durkee Enterprises' hoops for the Melco machines. It doesn't
appear they have a size that will work for the tote bags.
