I know this was directed towards Aaron
but it sounds like the easiest system for you
would be to go down to your local copier place
and have them make 3 part carbonless forms.
they cost more than regular but it saves so much time.
Fill the form out once, at the time of the sale.
then tear off the top sheet for production and
the next for sales to order merchandise and then the last
one can go to the art department or wherever.
Or leave them together if you don't need them separated.
I would think this is the fastest simplest method to
make your life easier, Oh and if possible check into having them
sequentially numbered. makes it easier follow up on separated copies
and job info at later dates.
Good Luck,

Aaron,
So give me some suggestions on how to keep the orders running smoothly from
the customer to the design to sewing the order out. Do you have a standard
form with the order and the design info, or separate forms. We have just one
form, but the girl that orders the items needs the form, I need the form for
the designs, and sometimes the graphic artist jumps in there. Any
suggestions,

How did you guess Ron?

After hooping w/o any devices for 10 years it just becomes 2nd nature
really. Kinda like threading needles with your eyes closed :) On a good
day with no interruptions I can usually keep 7-11 heads running if I have
the right designs setup. I usually let my employees do a big part of the
sewing while I do setup, ordering, and customer service along with sewing
most of the specialty items.
