Not from a wholesale supplier but Tractor Supply Company has some very heavy
cotton western cut shirts available in solid color and ar reasonable prices.

A client of ours is looking for a very particular shirt (aren't they all?).  He
would prefer Carhartt, but they've redesigned the shirt style he likes.  The
current Carhartt #S200 Chambray in 4.5 oz. cotton is the "look" he wants, but
it too thin/lightweight.  I believe the older version of this shirt was 5.5 oz.
cotton, but Carhartt no longer carries it.  Client’s business is ship building
and he and his crew literally wear right through their shirts very quickly.

Looked at industrial work shirts, but no 100% cotton or heavier fabric.  Looked
at denim - no flap-button pockets found.  Looked at other types of workwear,
but so far haven’t found the right combination.  Client may settle for Carhartt
#S09, a long sleeve 8 oz. heavyweight twill, but that's a bit heavy for the
summer months.

The shirt must have:

- 2 flap-button pockets (front chest)

- be 100% cotton, mid-weight or heavyweight fabric (5.5 oz. or more)

- available in short and long sleeves

- preferably light blue (like a light blue denim) - other solid blues and/or
khaki is OK, no stripes or plaids

Any and all suggestions and sources would be VERY much appreciated!

TIA!

Carole
